The population of a nearly extinct rare fish has miraculously recovered

According to a statement from NPS officials, the C.diabolis population has reached a 25-year high and now stands at 191 fish. The current number of fish is the highest since 1999.

Experts consider it encouraging to see such a large number of juveniles among these fish.
